As many as 37 stalls along Jalan Cipinang Indah Raya, Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta are controlled, Monday (4/18). Controlling is done because those standing on water channel.

Head of Duren Sawit Sub-district Satpol PP, Andik Sukaryanto disclosed, prior to controlling, his side had sent warning letter to the stall owner, but it was ignored. Thus his side had to conduct controlling to restore the channel function.

"We control 37 stalls today. They stand on the channel, precisely in front of BPK Penabur School," he told.

The land function will be restored as a channel. And will be planted with flower pots. His side also plans to send officer to patrol routinely.

Such controlling involved 75 joint officers of Satpol PP, Cleanliness Sub-dept, and PPSU.
